Brief Description:
Chief Information Officers (CIO) today are often working at the core of business development within the organization. While being in charge of information processing, they are involved in creating business opportunities leveraging on information technology and innovative thinking.
This CIO Training Course has been designed with the following objectives:
- To provide an overview of information management framework for CIOs,
- To enhance the knowledge and skills of CIOs enabling them to perform their tasks effectively,
- To develop CIO networking within the region.
The Training Course is being organized by the ITU Centres of Excellence Business Management Node located at TOT Academy in partnership with National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Thailand and Global Information and Telecommunication Institute (GITI), Graduate School of Global Information and Telecommunication Studies (GITS), Waseda University, Japan
The course will be conducted at TOT Academy, TOT Public Company Limited in Bangkok, Thailand during 24-27 November 2008.
